Video: A Woman Was Allegedly Kicked Out of Wal-Mart for Trying To Buy Sour Cream in a String Bikini
Sandy McMillin was just trying to buy some coffee creamer, chips, and sour cream at the local Wal-Mart in Eugene, Oregon this week when security supposedly escorted her out because she was wearing a string bikini top and shorts (which she bought at that very same Wal-Mart last summer — the irony!). She's making a big stink about it, and told her local Oregon news station that she'll never shop at Wal-Mart again. However, store employees said that her troublesome behavior went beyond her outfit: When other customers told her to cover up, she allegedly sassed them back about her right to wear (or not wear) whatever she wants.
Even though "no shirt, no service" policies are pretty standard everywhere, would McMillin have gotten the same treatment if she'd been a babe with a smokin' body and, well, hair? Even the news station that interviewed her for the story couldn't resist airing b-roll of her physique, shot from unflattering angles. Discrimination issues aside, the moral of the story is that people should always wear clothes in public, especially when news cameras are around. See the rather unfortunate video, below.
