Apparently People at Condé Nast Use Elevator Time to Judge Each Other’s Breakfasts

What do you do on the elevator? Check your phone? Nod awkwardly at the co-worker whose name you don’t remember? Seethe about the person who pushed the button for the second floor? Well, according to new Twitter feed @Conde Elevator, folks at Condé Nast spend those precious seconds on much more interesting things, like gabbing about how fun and thin and cool they are, or judging one another’s meals. An example tweet:

Woman #1 to Woman #2, holding an omelet: “What’s the occasion?” Woman #2: ” … huh?” Woman #1: “I would need an occasion to eat that.”

One supposes that this feed is probably a teensy bit embellished, since obviously the most amusing elevator rides at Condé are the ones where no one says a word.
