Though Duchess Kate was said to have turned down an offer from Alexandra Shulman to grace the cover of British Vogue prior to her wedding, a source told "Page Six" that Anna Wintour has been "quietly but persuasively campaigning" to get Kate onboard for American Vogue. She's reportedly asked Mario Testino, a longtime favorite of the British monarchy who shot William and Kate's engagement photos, to help convince Kate, who has shied away from press coverage of this nature so far.

Speaking of Kate and invitations, the Duchess attended a wedding this past weekend in Wiltshire, England, (as did Prince William, who was an usher at the ceremony). Since her husband was indisposed during her arrival, Kate brought a friend as her date and wore a red lace dress by Collette Dinnigan, a small red fascinator, black patent Prada heels, and a small black clutch. (Pippa was also in attendance, and was reportedly "the talk of the society event" thanks to rumors that she and boyfriend Alex Loudon have moved in together, or at least swapped house keys.)
