A Timeline of Lindsay Lohan in Fashion, From Miu Miu to Ungaro to Philipp Plein

If we learned anything from this past New York Fashion Week, it’s that Lindsay Lohan can still command a crowd among fashion folks. She nearly caused a riot when she first appeared at Cynthia Rowley with a pirate as her date; she then got into an altercation with a photographer at a Nine West party, and may or may not have played a role in sending someone to the hospital at a V magazine party at the Top of the Standard (she did throw a few drinks at people, as well as French fries).

Such behavior was rewarded with an ad campaign, naturally, for German label Philipp Plein, which she flew to Milan to shoot last week. It’s the first job she’s gotten in a while, and adds to her long and complicated relationship with the fashion industry. Not only did she birth a now-languishing leggings label, spend that one disastrous season at Ungaro, and star in ad campaigns for labels like Miu Miu and Jill Stuart, but she’s also posed for some of the world’s top fashion photographers (Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Mario Sorrenti, Bert Stern, Peter Lindbergh, Rankin, and Terry Richardson). We take a look back at her most notable shoots and fashion moments.
