André Leon Talley has a gallery named after him in the Savannah College of Art and Design’s brand new museum, where he’s just assembled its very first exhibit. On display are garments designed by recipients of the ALT Lifetime Achievement awards — including Oscar de la Renta, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Miuccia Prada — which the college presents every year (Talley is a board member). According to the Times, visitors will also be treated to a video of Talley making milkshakes on the Martha Stewart Show and enjoy background music from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Furthermore, Talley plans to add scent: “I want fragrance wafting through the ventilation system,” he explained. “Either Oscar de la Renta’s Live in Love, or Diane Von Furstenberg’s Diane.”
