The new Runway spinoff premiered last night right after season nine’s winner was crowned. There was an inventive challenge showcasing unusual materials, zany and over-emotional contestants, an illogical celebrity guest in Debra Messing, and snark from the judges — all stalwarts of Project Accessory’s parent show. But the episode felt like it was teething. Most disappointingly, Molly Sims has no snappy catchphrase to recite to the auf’d eliminated contestants.
