Gisele on the beach!
After much speculation that Givenchy was eyeing Gisele Bündchen for the spring 2012 campaign, the rumors are now confirmed: Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot photographed her on a stormy-looking beach dressed in decidedly un-beachy black leather and flanked by two male models. While previous rumors suggested that Gisele might usurp Riccardo Tisci’s longtime muse, Mariacarla Boscono, WWD reports that Boscono will join Gisele in the forthcoming images. The ads were art directed by the venerable duo Mathias Augustyniak and Michael Amzalag (better known as M/M Paris).
