Shopbop fashion director Kate Ciepluch confirmed to us this morning that she has decided to leave the company. She took her first job there over ten years ago, when it was just a little-known e-commerce start-up, and eventually spearheaded its expansion into footwear, swim, jewelry, and handbags  (she also amassed an impressive wardrobe of wide-brimmed hats and motorcycle jackets in the process). Shopbop's communication office states, "We are grateful for her incredible contribution to the company, and  wish her well in all of her future endeavors."
