Sears recently filed financial reports for the current year’s third quarter, revealing sales down by over 5 percent — and sales dropped even further below projections during the holiday season. To compensate for their shortcomings, Sears Holding Corp. announced plans to close between 100 and 120 stores (both Sears and Kmart outlets) in the near future.
