Alexandra Shulman Discusses That Vogue Editors Group Photo in Tokyo

In the new issue of British Vogue, editor Alexandra Shulman shares a photo diary of her recent trip to Tokyo for a big Fashion's Night Out–themed shindig with all sixteen other Vogue international editors. On their big group portrait, she says, "[the] editors' group shot was extremely amusing. Most of us were very good-humoured about being made to pose like a Vanity Fair gatefold ... As you might imagine, the placement had taken the combined forces of the Japanese and British Vogue picture desks and marketing departments, and caused many a sleepless night." Surely her use of "most of us" is not accidental — care to guess who might not have found the photo shoot quite so much fun?
