Yigal Azrouel Embraces Neon and Graphic Prints at the Cut 25 Boutique

Cut 25 opens tonight, the first stand-alone boutique for Yigal Azrouel’s lower-priced spinoff line; two more outposts are slated to open by the end of the year. Local design artist Dror Benshetrit designed the 1,400-square-foot space, where clothes hang from his sculptural trestle wooden racks and framed illustrations deck the walls. Azrouel launched the original Cut 25 collection in fall 2010, envisioning a more youthful, modern counterpart to his eponymous main line, and the splashy clothes are made for layering: printed silk dresses and tanks, loose techno knits, lace overlays, and cropped leather jackets. In addition to Azrouel’s own belts and scarves (expect a full handbag line next year), the store stocks collaborations like Worth and Worth hats, Holst & Lee jewelry, and Stila for Cut 25 cosmetics. Click ahead to check out the offerings.
