Carmen Dell’Orefice Defends Her Plastic Surgery

In Timothy Greenfield-Sanders’s forthcoming HBO documentary, About Face: The Supermodels, Then and Now, 81-year-old model Carmen Dell’Orefice explains why she got plastic surgery: “If you had the ceiling falling down in your living room, would you not go and have a repair?” The film, which also features Jerry Hall, China Machado, Paulina Porizkova, Isabella Rossellini, Marisa Berenson, and Lisa Taylor, premieres on Monday.
