Yesterday we learned Socol will resign from his position as CEO of the retailer. He says he wants a little me time, and it sounds like he'll miss this special job very much.
Howard Socol reportedly plans to resign less than a year after new owners took over the luxury chain. Perhaps the crippled economy or Barneys' new affinity for cheap merchandise is getting to him.
