New York fashion correspondent Fabiola Beracasa went to the Marchesa presentation yesterday, and our cameras tagged along to see beautiful people and red-carpet-worthy gowns. Anne Hathaway was there, wearing something a little less elegant than the Marchesa dress she had on at the Screen Actors Guild awards. “I don’t have many moments in my life where I feel like a movie star,” she mused. Designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig were inspired by Queen Elizabeth this season, and Rachel Zoe declared it their “best collection yet.” Watch the video and judge for yourself.

New York fashion correspondent Fabiola Beracasa took our cameras backstage at Catherine Malandrino today. At just one show, Fabiola gets her hair done, spies someone wearing her dress (scandalous!), talks politics with Jennifer Missoni, chats with Sophia Bush from One Tree Hill, and learns about the designer's love for the color green. London label Preen is showing at the New York tents for only the second time this season, but designers Thea Bregazzi and Justin Thornton have already attracted a savvy fan base that includes New York Times critic Cathy Horyn and downtown personality Leigh Lezark, who both talked to Fabiola Beracasa before the show. "They went from being very funky in the beginning, and now they're much more put together," Horyn explained, while Arden Wohl talked about her obsession with patent leather. As the music blasted backstage at Alexander Wang, Fabiola Beracasa caught up with model Jaime King, fashion editor Meredith Fisher, a very soft-spoken Chanel Iman, and the designer himself ("Did I mention he's cute?" said Paper's Mr. Mickey). Wang talked about his edgy aesthetic as "something that's a little bit loose and baggy. Own it. It doesn't have to fit in every little place. It's all about the flaws and imperfections."

9 a.m. Woke up to Vera Wang and Calvin Klein garment bags for the shows tomorrow. But I had to try on the looks later, as I had Michael Kors at 10 a.m. and an interview with the Palm Beach Post (for CIRCA) to do before that!

9:30 a.m. Met with my makeup artist Alexa at my home. She does her thing, and then at 11 a.m. I ran to the J.Mendel showroom to pick out a look for the show on Thursday. The Japanese magazine Glamorous came along to shoot me for their fashion story.
