It’s truffle time at New York — a three-part celebration of the original Magic Mushroom (and you know how we feel about that). Moving beyond the fabulous fungi, Adam Platt made his way down to Allen & Delancey and was so impressed with the place that he almost gave it three stars — before remembering that he was Adam Platt.

Gael Greene makes it down to the recently reopened Dévi and gets down with The People via a $45 tasting menu that sounds pretty fantastic. Rob and Robin announce the opening of Solex, a French sibling to Bar Veloce and Bar Carrera, as well as the new Will Goldfarb–helmed Dessert Studio at Chocolat Michel Cluizel. Plus, Anna Klinger of al di là pops in with an In Season cardamom recipe too. But the bottom line is that this is truffle time, and this week, the focus is on truffles. So get truffling! (Sorry, we had to.)
