At 1:30 p.m. today, employees of Wild Edibles will assemble in front of the store at 535 Third Avenue to announce a contempt-of-court motion against the company. According to a press release, workers are alleging that, despite a court injunction, they were illegally fired after filing their original suit demanding overtime pay. To date, six restaurant groups (totaling twenty restaurants) have dropped the seafood provider until the matter is resolved.
