Ken Friedman Also Has a Doppelgänger

Sure, David Chan looks a hell of a lot like David Chang, and it’s been noted that Tom Colicchio bares a striking resemblance to Cal Ripken Jr., but the food world has been strangely mum about the closest resemblance of all — between Spotted Pig honcho Ken Friedman and spotted-pig hunter Meriwether Lewis. Are these two not kindred spirits? Like Lewis, Friedman “went West” (by opening the Rusty Knot), and it's a fact that Lewis discouraged intoxication with violent lashings. After a night at the Pig, who hasn’t been hurting the next morning?
