Yolato is going on the offensive in the battle of the ice-cream substitutes and calling out its competitors. We received a press release that not only acknowledged the “fro-yo wars,” but went on to boast that “Yolato is about to blast past Pinkberry and Red Mango in total number of locations” thanks to its secret weapon — Yolato Expresses located in delis and gourmet shops around the city.

The soft-serve machines are being installed right now - there are over 30 around town so far and over 50 shops have signed up - the company's goal is to make Yolato Express available at over 100 locations in the tri-state area by the end of the year - far surpassing the number of Pinkberry and Red Mango outlets.

As if that weren’t enough, “frozen-yogurt gelato bars” have just hit the freezer aisles of Food Emporium, Gristedes, and D’Agostino. My God! They’re everywhere!
