It’s a funny bit of trivia that New York Social Diary’s food blogger, Jordana Z. (this week she visits Via Quadronno’s new White Plains location), is actually Jordana Zizmor, daughter of “Dr. Z,” he of the subway ads. And it’s also funny that she signs her column off with “Until we eat again.” Sound familiar? Of course it does — it’s Restaurant Girl’s saccharine sign-off, and as much a part of her identity as, well, her florid prose. Are there really so few food puns to go around? Was it a choice between this and Andrea Strong’s tagline, “Read it and eat”?
