Southern Hospitality may be coming south, as far as downtown. An industry source told us owner Eytan Sugarman is looking at the Steak Frites space on Varick and Clarkson streets for a downtown version of the restaurant, made famous by minority owner Justin Timberlake. Southern Hospitality reps told us that Sugarman “is looking at many spaces, including that one, to expand his restaurant portfolio.” Our source says the Steak Frites space is the one, but you never known until the lease is signed.
