‘Vanity Fair’ Pimps Out Waverly Inn for Facebook Friends

Vanity Fair hasn’t updated its Waverly Inn blog since May, but it’s still milking Graydon Carter’s restaurant for laughs (and PR!). In a new YouTube video, assistant Bill Bradley, who has to get 10,000 friends for the magazine’s Facebook page, or he’s fired, says he’ll take you to dinner at the Wave if you write the best 200-word essay about why “you are the one who deserves to eat a $100 plate of macaroni and cheese with me, surrounded by movie stars and moguls.” Look for a cameo by maître d’ Emil Varda and get to scribbling!
