Well, this pretty much confirms earlier reports that Rififi, also known as Cinema Classics, was closing. A little over a week after its suddenly announced final night, the space has already been gutted. A worker on the scene said that it will become a Buffalo Exchange store, adding to the other trendy boutiques on the block. The store won’t be preserving the bar, John Varvatos style — it’s already gone.
