Jesi Solomon Moves From Stanton Social to Thor

There’s yet another chef in charge of Thor, the restaurant in the Hotel on Rivington that opened with Kurt Gutenbrunner at the helm (his protégé, Kevin Pomplun, briefly replaced him). Jesi Solomon is the new kid on the block — although he’s not exactly new to the block. He was previously a sous-chef over at Stanton Social (before that he put in some time at Rice Restaurant in the W Hotel in San Diego). His menu at Thor is described as “modern American … with a focus on colorful and cutting-edge flavors.” See it for yourself.
