Marcel Vigneron hosting a $195 food demo is something akin to disgraced Red Sox first-baseman Bill Buckner selling autographs, but if you’re into the freak factor of seeing the Top Chef also-ran working his magic with foam, know that he’ll be at Astor Center tonight from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. We hear he’s preparing Kona Kompachi with Tom Yum foam, and — get this — a dry martini with foam. After which he will pound out a Metallica cover, “Wherever I May Foam.” No, kidding.
