Gordon Ramsay may have turned Purnima around (at least by his own account), but not so with Black Pearl, the clam bar that was shown to be in a deep sea of debt on Kitchen Nightmares last Thursday. As of today it’ll no longer be serving lobster rolls that are like “eating a dirty diaper,” or anything else for that matter, because it’s closing. Not exactly a surprise that the owners sold the joint since, per a rundown of the episode, their hearts just weren’t in it. And so, for better or worse, we take one off the lobster-roll list.
