Forget Seth MacFarlane’s Doodling, the King Is Back IN THE FLESH

In Burger King news, Seth MacFarlane's animated version of the King hit the Net yesterday, and frankly it’s hard to watch — sort of like viewing a cosmetically altered loved one at a funeral. As if to console us, the folks at BK have sent us their brand spankin’ new TV commercial, and, get ready for it, it features (Could it be? Is it really him?) THE KING, BABY, THE KING!! The spot was set in NYC (“reverse pickpocketing” — a brilliant commentary on Disneyfication!), meaning the King is walking among us. Now if they’d only revive that “Manthem” commercial.
