A few weeks ago, former Perry St sous-chef Tyler Kord opened No. 7 in Fort Greene, his own neighborhood. But how did he come to serve dishes like kimchee perogies? In an interview with Brooklyn Based, Kord says: "I kind of just wrote the menu and cooked what I felt like, and it unintentionally veered toward Eastern Europe at one end and Asian/Korean at the other.
