As excited as we are about home sous vide cookers, it’s another appliance that has overjoyed us to such a degree that — what the hell — we’re going to designate it an Engine of Gastronomy. Per Engadget, Coca-Cola will soon debut a soda fountain capable of pumping out 100 flavors of frosty beverage. We didn’t even know Coke had this many varieties — does this mean the company will revive bygone classics like New Coke, C2, Coke II, and Surge? Will Japan’s Rice Coke finally come to the States? Will there be new and trendy limited-edition syrups like Green Tea Coke and Tart Berry Coke? We can’t wait to see how this changes the face of carbonated sugar water.
