A First Look at 508, Now Delivering Pork-Belly Sandwiches

Today’s cavalcade of openings continues. Remember 508, the restaurant taking over the former Giorgione 508 space? Well, it’s open now, and here’s your first look. We already had the hearty, pungent pork-belly-and-caramelized-apple sandwich delivered to us off the lunch menu, and we gotta say, it was worth having the onions and rosemary aïoli on our breath the rest of the day. We’ve got the dinner, brunch, and breakfast menus for you, too. In addition to black spaghetti, chefs Jennifer Lynn Hill and her hubby, Anderson Sant’anna di Lima, are making a squid-ink pizza with rock shrimp and arugula (take that, clam pies!). Other specials might include a red-snapper seviche and a sardine escabeche.
