Cupcake Overload: Magnolia and Crumbs Opening, Treats Truck Does Halloween

As you can see from our slideshow, Magnolia Bakery’s Rockefeller Center location is ready to open on Monday — like the Upper West Side store, it’ll be open for breakfast and is kosher. Never mind the tourists — our mind cannot fathom the amount of office birthday and going-away parties these cupcakes will see. We expect worker productivity to giddily rise and then crash soon after.
Meanwhile, Cupcakes Take the Cake reports that when the newest Crumbs opens next Friday at 124 University Place, it’ll give away no less than 1,000 cupcakes. And the Treats Truck (now on Twitter!), tells us that this month, along with its controversial “ice cream cone cupcakes,” it’ll be serving Halloween cupcakes as well as sugar cookies and Candy Corn Crispy Squares. Cuppycuppyweeeeee!!!!
