If two is a trend, then consider the Libertine and Haven evidence of this one: bi-level restaurant/lounges with the air of cigar clubs. This one, located in a midtown townhouse and co-owned by actor Bershan Shaw, even has its own crest! We’ve already noted that the menu is a bit girlie-drink heavy (and nights such as Jezebel Thursday are in keeping with former resident Divine Bar East’s femininity), but our slideshow reveals a somewhat masculine interior — you’ll notice velvet wallpaper, snakeskin leather walls, alligator-tufted ceilings (um?), antique books, Chinese swords, and masks from Bali. As far as a smoking club goes, this one is close — but no cigars!
