It was back in 2006 when, mourning the loss of our to-go margaritas (no worries — we've since found another spot that serves flavored margs to go!), we coined this term for the Lower East Side, to ram home the fact that — on the weekends at least — it's a meatpacking-like circus of high heels and lowlifes. Now, two years later, Guest of a Guest frets, "Is the LES Dunzo?", and Down by the Hipster is like, "Did you really just ask that?"
