What to Order at Secession
10/6/08 at 3:05 PM
Secession lured a crowd for its preview party on Saturday with the promise of cheese bread, oysters, and a single glass of Pommery for $25 (prompting one passerby reading the night's lineup out front to remark, "Sounds more like Recession"). A fresh teal paint-job in the former Danube space accented the Klimt murals nicely, but the nondescript snacks did little to show off the restaurant's new French and Italian direction. Secession begins serving tomorrow night: check out the menu for a long list of terrines, fresh pastas, and risotto.
