To push his new cookbook, Urban Italian (out last week), Andrew Carmellini is joining the ranks of blogging chefs like Ripert and Vongerichten (actually, Vongerichten hasn’t updated since his mid-August post chiding Platt). Okay, so he’s not really blogging per se, but his new Website has photos from his travels, book-tour dates, and even news about his new restaurant, which the Feedbag revealed would not be in the old Tasting Room space after all. Says Carmellini, “I promise it'll be located somewhere between the East River and the Hudson, but I can't tell you more than that just yet.” Ha. No, but seriously. Where will it be?
