The ’bag has it that Seymour Burton will be reborn in about a month as Butcher Bay, a “seafood pub” (hmmm … is two a trend?). As we reported earlier, they're taking cues from Maryland. Adam Cohn: “The idea is food that, if you grew up in the Mid-Atlantic states, you’d eat at a street fair or county fair. So there will be pan-fried Maryland-style fried chicken, and also crabcakes, fish and chips, and the fried oyster and bacon po boy we did at Seymour Burton will make a return. They’ll be daily specials, like all-you-can-eat crab boils, and we’re going to have a big raw bar as well.” [Feedbag]
