Txikito Opens Tonight Txiugjsskfjdjfhudgg

That’s right, Alex Raij’s new tapas spot is upon us (no offense to Basque separatists, but we may just have to go with the Castilian and call this place Chiquito, mmmmkay?). The Flo chart reports, “There are red patent leather stools at a limestone counter for canapés called pinxos, tapas and regional dishes meant for sharing.” There has been surprisingly little pre-opening fanfare about this one, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be a wait: Txikito (okay, fine, we’ll go with it for now) has just 28 seats, so you might want to get there right when it opens at 5 in the p.m. 240 Ninth Ave., nr. 24th St.; 212-242-4730.
