Josh DeChellis will helm the reincarnation of sixties-era Latin-themed restaurant La Fonda del Sol when it opens in the Met Life building in January, reports Florence Fabricant, confirming an earlier rumor on the 'bag. The new restaurant is owned by the Patina Group, which plans to focus on modern Spanish cooking. DeChellis, who had to put his tempura fetish to rest when BarFry closed, should have plenty of things to fry in the form of croquettes.
