At Community Board 4's most recent licensing-committee meeting, the operator of a Chipotle that’ll soon come to 149 Eighth Avenue between 17th and 18th Streets asked for a license to serve beer and — get this — margaritas! That’s still up in the air, but in the meantime, Chipotle tells us that on December 11 it’ll open its final store of the year, at 274 Madison Avenue at 39th Street. To celebrate, it’s giving away free burritos on December 10 from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. And you don’t even have to tolerate acoustic singer-songwriters to snag a freebie (though if that’s your cup of tea, you can do that too)!
