What food business expands in a bad economy? Pizza, apparently. The Post reports that Artichoke Basille is looking to open five (five!) more locations, the first in the West or East Village. South Brooklyn Pizza is soft-opening its takeout delivery annex today, Slice reports. Sicilian Margherita and Cheese Mélange pies are $20, or $3 for a slice. Delivery is available within a ten-block radius of the Carroll Gardens shop. Call to check for availability prior to the grand opening on January 8.
