Brooklyn’s CB2 Thinks of the Children
12/15/08 at 1:07 PM
Brooklyn’s Community Board 2 unanimously opposed a liquor license for the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory last week, but the owner hasn’t given up his boozy dream. Owner Mark Thompson told the Brooklyn Paper that he only wants a liquor license for catering purposes. The board was wary of serving alcohol at a shop frequented by children. But will they be wary about a methadone clinic on Hoyt Street? So, neighbors how do you like them oysters?
