Though Christa Worthington was murdered in January 2002, her killer was just convicted today. The fashion writer, who left the city for Cape Cod with her young daughter, was raped and stabbed in her kitchen, Vanessa Grigoriadis recounted for New York in February 2002. Police spent three years investigating Worthington's former boyfriends before looking to Christopher McCowen, a garbage man.
