Sicko premiere. Ziegfeld Theater, 141 W. 54th St., nr. Sixth Ave., 7 p.m. Expected guests include director Michael Moore, Milos Forman, Edie Falco, and Carol Alt. All fees incurred at this premiere not covered by your annual out-of-network deductible will be paid directly out of the flex-spending account you were hoping to use on contact lenses.

Gordon Parks Foundation awards dinner. Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadway, nr. 36th St., 6 p.m. Henry Louis Gates Jr., HBO documentary honcho Sheila Nevins, and Gloria Vanderbilt will be honored. Expected attendees: Spike Lee, Anderson Cooper, Diane von Furstenberg, others. Actually, technically, we don't know if there will be others. Maybe it's just going to be those six people sitting at a small table in the center of the cavernous Gotham Hall, chewing silently.

Broken English premiere. Landmark Sunshine Cinema, 143 E. Houston St., nr. First Ave., 6:30 p.m. Director Zoe Cassavetes will be on hand along with stars Parker Posey, Drea de Matteo, and Justin Theroux; other notables expected include Sofia Coppola, Sam Rockwell, and Piper Perabo. Piper and Parker should name their kids after each other, then form a multigenerational traveling Dixieland jazz band called the Parker Posey Piper Perabo Parker Perabo Piper Posey All-Stars.
