Georgina Chapman and Harvey Weinstein Take the Celebrity Wedding to Connecticut (Updated)

The food (caviar and truffle risotto!) was from Nobu and Cipirani, and guests were asked to give contributions to charity in lieu of gifts. Which is all well and good, but we've long been experts in wedding announcements, and not once does the People story mention where they went to college. How are we supposed to tell whether it was a good wedding without knowing that he went to SUNY Buffalo and she went to Chelsea College of Arts and Design in London? And that neither graduated cum laude? And we don't even know whether one of them descended from someone who came over on the Mayflower. Come on, People, did you just start doing this yesterday?

Update: Fashionista adds Hathaello, Eva Mendes, Glenda Bailey, Jacquetta Wheeler, Kerry Washington and Natalia Vodianova to the guest list, and Roger Friedman reports that the Clintons, Mayor Bloomberg, George Clooney, Ben Affleck, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sean Combs, Denzel Washington, Heidi Klum, and English Patient director Anthony Minghella sent video tributes. Roger also says Steve Schwarzmann, Les Moonves, Julie Chen, Jeff Zucker, Robert de Niro, Mort Zuckerman, Bert Fields, Brad Grey, Kevin Huvane and George Pataki were in the crowd. Also, apparently Anne Hathaway and her boyfriend Raffaello Follieri were slightly problematic guests. Anna Wintour was none too pleased when she was introduced to the Devil Wears Prada star, and Follieri had to spend the evening avoiding fellow attendee (and recently settled lawsuit instigator) Ron Burkle.
