As promised earlier this week, nymag.com launched a new homepage last night. The design was conceived with a number of goals in mind: Breaking news reports from our blogs are now more prominent; the lower half of the page is organized by category, so it's easier to find different types of editorial; a new navigation bar makes access to the whole site quicker; and all of the site's powerful utilities are now available directly from the homepage.
