Yeah, It's True: The French Are Way Better at Sex Scandals Than We Are

Say what you want about the French (they're so annoyingly French), but it's hard not to be grateful to French president Nicolas Sarkozy and his ex-wife for leaving details about budget-motel trysts and "constituent services" to the public's imagination. Cécilia Ciganer-Albéniz, the ex-wife of the former French president, remarried this weekend at the Rainbow Room a month after her ex-husband did the same. And get this! There was no press conference! In fact, judging from the thin gathering of photogs outside Radio City Music Hall, no one in New York really cares all that much about the ex–Mrs. Sarkozy's love life, and for that, we'd really just like to say: Bless you, Cécilia, for not using the press as your own personal public confessional. Do come again.
