We're beginning to get a little worried about the Los Angeles Times' blogs. First they score the first picture of Lydia Hearst on the set of Gossip Girl. Then, today, they broke the news that Lisa Loeb will be performing on the show. WHAT? Lisa Loeb? The "Stay" singer who became popular among angsty teenage girls at exactly the same time as My So-Called Life? All of Daily Intel's writers were those teenage girls (especially Chris). And Gossip Girl is our show — did we not just write the longest story ever about it? How are they scooping us? (Loeb will play at a reunion concert with Rufus's band, FYI, and Hearst plays someone named Amelia who gets involved with Chuck.) This is a disaster.

Whatever. It's only a matter of time before they slip up, perhaps by stealing a Valentino dress and pawning it off, only to be caught and humiliated in front of all of their friends. We'll be back on top, you'll see.
