‘Times,’ Díaz Get Pulitzers

The Pulitzer Prizes were just awarded at Columbia University this afternoon, and a few hometown heroes took high honors. The Times won for investigative reporting and explanatory reporting, and Junot Díaz’s long-awaited The Brief and Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao took the fiction prize. The Pulitzer glow is especially bright in Washington, D.C., today — their city's Post took home six prizes. What about our Post?? Is the ability to sum up the greatest gubernatorial scandal in a decade with just the two syllables "HO NO" worth nothing? —Aileen Gallagher
