Lydia Hearst Has Gone From ‘It's Complicated’ to ‘Engaged’!

OMG! We knew the summer hiatus from Gossip Girl wouldn't be as boring as the season finale made it out to be. One of the show's most fabulous characters is engaged! It turns out that the whirlwind real-life romance between Lydia Hearst and celebrity brother Matt Rains is even more serious than a spontaneous trip to Iraq. Just now, model-actress-socialite-underboob-exposer Lydia Hearst changed her Facebook status from "It's Complicated" to "Engaged." After just one week of dating! This means huge news, not only for Lydia, who has dated celebrities like Cisco Adler and Justin Bartha, but for Rains as well. He'll be marrying into the massive Hearst-family publishing fortune. It also means that we may have a huge society wedding for the young NYC party set in the works. And most important, it means Lydia might one day soon reproduce. It's madness. Madness!

Or, much more likely, it just means that Lydia has wised up to the fact that journalists are checking her Facebook page. You know, one or the other.
