Representative Vito Fossella Arrested on Drunk-Driving Charges

According to court papers, congressman Vito Fossella was arrested for drunk driving early in the morning today in Virginia. The representative, whose district includes Staten Island and parts of Brooklyn, was pulled over in Alexandria. He will appear in court on May 12. The Republican congressman, first elected in 1997, now faces Virginia's tough DWI laws. No comment as of yet from his camp.
