Person Hit by No. 4 Train

  • 6/12/08 at 12:10 PM

Oh, this is not good. You know how every time the subway announcer issues one of those “after an earlier incident” speeches, you immediately wonder if some loon phoned in a fake bomb threat or if someone was hit? Well, unfortunately this time it was the latter. Gothamist reports that a person was struck by a No. 4 train at Union Square subway station at 8:30 this morning. The police investigation is ongoing. There are delays on the 4, 5, and 6 lines as NYC Transit is running Brooklyn-bound 4 and 5 trains on the local tracks between Grand Central and Brooklyn Bridge–City Hall.
